About Us
Biggleswade Twinning Association was formed by a group of ordinary people who wanted to form links with a European Town. Erlensee in Germany was selected and many friendships have developed between the two towns.
Twinning provides the opportunity for anyone in either community to make friends through group or individual visits.
Twinning offers a programme of social events here in Biggleswade and in Erlensee.
Twinning provides the possibility for Biggleswade organisations to link up with a similar group in Erlensee allowing links to be formed
Twinning activities are organised by the members for the members without any "official" support.
Twinning is funded by member subscriptions -
Twinning is open to all regardless of age. You do not have to have a spare room, speak German, or be able to travel.
